Traditional sampling methods limit process insight, but MAVEN allows for continuous measurement and control of these parameters, enhancing bioprocess characterization and management. The experiments demonstrated that a continuous glucose feeding strategy improves cell culture viability and product quality compared to daily bolus feeding. In particular, MAVEN prevented culture crashes and reduced high-mannose glycan levels in monoclonal antibodies, which can influence efficacy and stability. Overall, MAVEN facilitates more precise control and optimization of bioprocesses, leading to improved outcomes.
