The power of Raman spectroscopy for bioprocess monitoring is well-known , but the expertise required to develop ROBUST and SUSTAINABLE multivariate models is a massive impediment. Our goal was to develop an in-line device, termed MAVERICK, that provides immediate value for glucose, lactate and biomass estimation without the need for cumbersome model training/re-training with an ease-of-use similar to that of a pH probe. This was poster # 390 at ESACT 2024.
