Sharon Kedar, CFA

Sharon Kedar is Co-Founder and Partner at Northpond Ventures, a leading science, medical, and technology-driven venture capital firm. In addition to 908 Devices, Sharon is currently a board director at Codex DNA, Emulate, Hawthorne Effect, and IsoPlexis. Sharon has also served on the boards of Ultivue and Vizgen. Sharon was previously CFO of Sands Capital Management. Over her 15 years with Sands Capital, assets under management grew from $1.5 billion to $50 billion. Prior to Sands Capital, Sharon was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Sharon has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Rice University. She is a CFA charterholder. Sharon is also an advocate for financial literacy, and has co-authored two books on personal finance for women. Her work has been featured nationally.
