- COPS Anti-Meth Program (CAMP) and COPS Anti-Heroin Task Force (AHTF): The Trump administration proposes boosting funds to enhance multi-jurisdictional task forces’ efforts against opioids and synthetic drugs, especially in trace detection.
- Homeland Security Opioid Detection Grants: As part of a new DHS border security and interdiction initiative, an emphasized funding stream will provide resources for chemical detection and screening tools for xylazine and fentanyl at ports of entry and state fusion centers.
