Area Monitoring

Quick, remote, and continuous intelligence gathering of hazardous gases, vapors, and aerosols for swift containment response and ensuring public safety.

Remote Chemical Detection for Increased Safety

Area monitoring that provides identification of aerosol and vapor chemical warfare agents (CWAs), pharmaceutical based agents (PBAs), and toxic bulk gases. Remote operation delivers increased capability for first responders conducting area monitoring missions around the world.

Gas Identification Combined with Robotic Platforms for Enhanced Security

First responders face a myriad of unknown and unseen threats, particularly at large-scale public gatherings. Remote gas and vapor identification devices can be used for screening large areas before sending personnel in, gaining access to seemingly hard-to-reach areas, and establishing safety perimeters. The integration of the InterceptIR onto remote platforms allows responders to sense, screen, and move safely into seemingly inaccessible environments.

Chemical Threat Surveillance

InterceptIR, a version of our XplorIR gas detector, was designed for integration onto a variety of robotic platforms using the provided power and communication. This pairs the gas identification capability of the InterceptIR with the remote control features of the unmanned system, providing safer site characterization. The InterceptIR has a low SWaP (Size Weight and Power) payload and the ability to identify over 5,600 gases and vapors autonomously.
