Staying ahead of novel psychoactive substances requires more than a single intelligence source. This webinar explores how law enforcement and forensic agencies can integrate multiple intelligence streams, from online drug forums and early warning systems to forensic laboratory data, to build a comprehensive picture of emerging threats. Online communities often paint an early picture of new drugs, alerting agencies to their emergence, popularity, effects, and abuse potential. While more delayed, public and private forensic agencies have access to seizure data, completing the initial picture and expanding on drug appearances and common administration routes. Attendees will learn practical strategies for monitoring these intelligence channels, translating findings into actionable responses, and using predictive information to guide life-saving actions.
