In this application note, by using a combination of analytical tools including REBEL and MAVEN, we were able to gain unique insights that allowed us to perform a data-driven optimization of a bioprocess and reach the process development goals with regards to titer, toxic metabolite profiles, and viability. REBEL, an amino acid analyzer streamlines bioprocess optimization by providing rapid, at-line spent-media analysis. It helps optimize nutrient feeding, control toxic metabolites, and improve cell viability, resulting in higher yields, including a 30% titer increase in one case.
