We would love to see you at our booth #860. We have a lot going on! We will be hosting a general session presentation, discussing cell culture and upstream processing track – as well as the breakfast seminar where we will be unveiling details on our latest in-line PAT solution. Please see the details below regarding these events, and be sure to stop by booth #860 to find out about our latest technologies.

General Session Presentation

In-line monitoring of bioprocess parameters for the 21st century

It’s been nearly 20 years since the FDA and EMA published guidelines on process analytical technologies (PAT) to drive the advancement of Biopharma 4.0 with the aim of predictive control and Quality by Design. Over the years several multivariate optical sensing technologies have demonstrated tremendous promise for in-line continuous monitoring of a range of parameters. These technologies offer the promise of hands-off, non-destructive, and easy-to-integrate multi-parameter analysis with feedback control loop. Yet Unfortunately, they often require substantial expert configuration and set-up time that can take months or years, and at substantial expense. In this presentation, we will review the current state of spectroscopy-based approaches and their associated strengths and limitations. We’ll discuss a few use cases showing the use of an innovative platform designed to greatly simplify implementation and interpretation of in-line process parameter data during typical bioprocess runs.

Breakfast Seminar

908 Devices is launching a new PAT solution that eliminates the major implementation hurdles of conventional optical sensing technology.

• This new technology platform provides actionable process insights and a faster set-up of in-line process monitoring without the complexity and cost of chemometric modeling.

• We will review applicability across cell lines, media types, and bioreactor scales.
